Greek pet owners get special flight out of Middle East
No furry friend left behind...

Animals are often the innocent victims in wars and other conflicts, but there's been a happy ending for some of them.
Primedia's Digital Content Editor Barbara Friedman says a special evacuation flight was arranged for Greek citizens with pets, who were trapped by the conflict in the Middle East.
"Lots and lots of dogs and cats arriving in the arms of their owners, in the airport... because pets are part of the family too.
"It's not easy to fly with pets without a lot of red tape, and it's complicated. So this was all done very quickly... looks like they created an emergency evacuation flight, where pets were welcome."
